In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.
The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
